Birding in Victoria, B.C. 

Vancouver Island Birding is still really great.  We found a pair of Wonderful Cedar Waxwings displaying a mating behaviour for us.  One was feeding the other one a lot of flying insects.  

They also were rubbing their beaks together a lot.

Very Good Birding

 

 We have been having very excellent birding this month here on Vancouver Island and Victoria, B.C.  The above vignette is of the Western Kingbird we visited up at Mount Tolmie.  It is "V" week at the famous ABC Blog Meme so I will find some more very "V" like words.

 

 

Also visible at Mount Tolmie was the vivacious and volant little Lazuli Bunting with its vivid colors.  It was very vocal with a lot of verbose calls.

Tired Tigers Tired Me
