Hi ...thanks so much for your encouragement of my photos...EG WOW and Mary asked how I got so close...this hawk was at a Raptor Centre and I do have a long lens...he is not one of our local hawks and is mostly found on the prairie I think.

Wonderful shots of a great bird. I miss them since moving to Florida from New Mexico, where one flew right past our big front window-- it looked as massive as an eagle!
