MERRY CHRISTMAS READERS and FRIENDS!!
Thanks to all my readers and hope you all have a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. I am truly thankful to have this many readers ....I feel blessed that anyone wants to read my blog. I think it must be an accident that people read my blog, (someone must have added my link on somewhere) and I don't deserve it, but I like it. A special thanks goes to my Google friends who sign up and comment even though my gadget is a little broken. Thanks to my small blog community, who come and write a comment for me each day, it is the best support any blogger can have. I do spend as much time as I can enjoying each of your incredible blogs and I try to put out a good blog each week for you to read. It takes a lot of time but it is worth it all when I read the lovely comments that you have given to me. PLEASE CONTINUE READING TO SEE MORE PICTURES
For ABC Meme at the letter "x": I am posting a little early as it will be a busy week next week.
Sometimes we see the abbreviation Xmas and I wondered at the origin of it. Thanks to Google and Wiki, I found out that the "mas" part is Latin derived Old English for "Mass" and the X part comes from the Greek letter "Chi", which is the first letter of the Greek word for Christ. Apparently it is not to be used in formal writing so I can use it here as we are very informal and say Merry Xmas and Merry Christmas to my readers.
Mixed in here are a few little Pelican Christmas cards to all my blog friends, commentors, Google friends, email subscribers, and RSS feed subscribers and anyone that clicks into my blog. The Pelicans are still here in the Victoria Inner Harbour and are spending Christmas with us so I wanted to include them and give them some cookies too. Looks like he is hungry for those cookies!
Thank you to these memes for allowing bloggers to share their story. I may not remember to enter them all but I still list them as this is the quick way for me to do it.

I list all the memes for the week now as I can only spend a short time on the computer as my eyes get tired. Such is life.
