Coming Home

I am finally back at blogging! It feels like coming home.  I took some time off to recharge so now I have to get up to date with all the blogs here.  Hope all of you are doing well. It is so nice to see all your blogs and avatars again.

I missed my contact with you all. I am keeping in touch with some bloggers on Facebook so friend message me if you want. I would like that.

We have had so many rare and unusual birds this summer so I will put them in next week for the bird memes.

I am still doing ok, just tired all the time from the leukemia I have. It feels so great to be back at my blog again surrounded by my blog friends.  I will slowly get around to each of your blogs. cheers, Nora

Thank you to each of these memes for allowing bloggers to share their story.

  7. Welcome back. From someone who used to follow your blog, (time off myself illness, nothing compared to yours) and blogs from another small island. Absolutely stunning colours in the first shot. I hope you have the strength and time and energy to continue the blog. Blogging is a great distraction from health issues.

  16. Lovely photos - especially the birds!
It sounds like you and I have been through the same thing this year. I was diagnosed with Leukemia (AML) February 25th. The initial chemo made me so weak I spent 4 weeks in Rehab after I got out of the hospital at the end of March. I've had three more chemo sessions requiring a 3 week hospital stay each time. I am in remission and pray to God that I stay there. I still don't have the strength to do all I want to do, but I am grateful for whatever I can get done each day. One Leukemia survivor told me it took her a year to recover her full strength after she finished the chemo.
Hope you feel a little better every day

  26. Welcome back Nora. Sorry to learn of your health issues. Glad you are able to "lose yourself" for a while with your photography and sharing the glorious results on your blogsite. Praying for better health for you each day. Thank you for these wonderful captures from beautiful Vancouver Island - I was greatly blessed to have experienced a 3 week house exchange there at the beginning of this year: a dream come true, so am delighted to see your photos. Thank you.
