Hello From Me on The Other Side

Yup it is me.  I am still here. Hello from the other side of blogging. I have just been reading blogs. I must have looked at my blog and thought about blogging a thousand times. I am sorry for not writing on my blog for so long. At least now I can say I tried. Hello from the other side of blogging. A little parody of Adele's new song. Adele actually wrote the song about reconnecting to herself. I haven't written in my blog for a year.

I hope all of you are well and enjoying the New Year.  We had a delightful visit from a Yellow-breasted Chat in our area lately. He is still here.

Delightful rare Yellow-breasted Chat above  (Delightful for ABC Meme at the letter 'D' and the Dark picture of Fisgard Lighthouse at the top with some red for Ruby Tuesday.)

Also we have had a rare Redwing in Victoria from Asia visit us. (above) People are coming from all over Canada and the U.S. to see it. It is not far from our house.

For Good Fences Thursday, the fence at Butchart Gardens. Cheers and I hope I hear from some of my old blogging friends.
Adele and James sing Hello.

Hi Nora, good to hear you are still around and watching nature.
Yes that Redwing is a long way from home. We would normally get to see quite a ew in Winter but I have not seen any in this area so far.
Although I have seen a few of its causing the Fieldfare.
Hope you are keeping well. Kind regards Roy.

So wonderful to see a post here, Nora! I've been wondering about you and hoping all was well there. You have seen some very wonderful birds over the past year. It's funny that you should mention Adele's song, just last night I was thinking about listening to it (for the first time) and looking for the lyrics to see what it is about. I like the idea of reconnecting to oneself. Welcome back, blogging friend.

A big hello back to you! It has been a while and I hope you are well. How nice to see you enjoying the beautiful outdoors and capturing those special visual moments. I have been hearing about the rare Redwing in the news and it is a pleasure to see that this jaded world can still get excited about a little visiting bird. :)

Hi Nora, Welcome back... You have such a beautiful blog --and live in such a wonderful part of our world... I'm glad to hear from you. I haven't blogged nearly as much as I used to... Am only blogging a few times a month now.. I was just spending WAY too much time on the computer trying to keep up with everyone. Now--I just blog when I want to and have something to say.

Love that Yellow-breasted Chat... Gorgeous.

Hugs,
Betsy

Oh Nora...I am so relieved to see you posting. I left a comment a while back as I knew you had health challenges and then it was so quiet. I am so happy to see you and to see your wonderful bird photos...
