Happy Weekend Photos
This was the sky over my city last night from up on Mount Tolmie.
For Sky Watch Friday. (taken with cell phone) It is always a gift when you get an unexpected sunset.

Picasa Discontinued, Google Photos
Google Photos and Picasa with Great Horned Owl Photos:
This is a general post on blogging with some Great Horned Owls for company as you read all this. I think the owls make it more interesting. It is really boring.

Very Dark Night
Though my soul may set in darkness,
it will rise in perfect light.
I have loved the stars too fondly
to be fearful of the night.

Elusive Redwing in Victoria
Elusive meaning difficult to find, catch or achieve. This describes my relationship with the Redwing, the bird that has arrived here from Asia. Oh it is not very far from my house as I am sure that it has flown here only to visit me. Many of my bloggers and readers are from Europe. I am sure it is for me. Problem is, we go there and it is ELUSIVE. It is either hiding in the holly tree or up on the hill in the oak trees. Sigh.
