Sad News
I was so sad to hear the news of the passing of my blog friend, Tina and her husband in an accident. She was a wonderful photographer. I will miss her. Tina was known as EG Camera Girl. Her Blog is here East Gwillimbury Camera Girl. She was a long time blogger and her amazing photos will be missed.

ReplyDeleteIt was sad to hear about Tina and her husband! She will be missed.
ReplyDeleteThat is very sad news. I have followed her blog for some time and am grateful to you for letting me know.
ReplyDelete:(
ReplyDeleteI visited her every post
I looked at my first few posts on this blog in 2008 and Tina always posted a nice comment on here from 2008 and on.
DeleteShe was such a good blogger and left such kind and encouraging comments. She will be missed so much. I felt as if I'd lost a personal friend.
ReplyDeleteYes I feel the same way. I felt like I wanted to do something to remember Tina always. I was very shocked at the news and it made me realize that over many years of blogging and reading friends blogs each day, that we develop a relationship and we know them just as well as if we saw them each day. It is a special group we have here.
DeleteThank you for letting us know. Tina will certainly be sorely missed by me. Not only her photography but also the link to Canada, a land I dearly love. I have followed Tina's blog for many years.
ReplyDeleteyes, she was my fellow Canadian blogger. She was an inspiration to me. I feel lost.
DeleteSo tragic. Very sorry for the loss of your blogging friend.
ReplyDeleteYes the whole thing was tragic, it was more than the loss it was how the loss
Deletehappened.
Oh no! That is so sad...
ReplyDeleteThanks Pat.
DeleteYes, Tina will be missed. She and I were blogging buddies for years --and then I caught up with her on Facebook... Such a fantastic photographer..... God Bless her family and loved one...
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Betsy
Thanks Betsy. I can't seem to understand why.
DeleteIt's such a terrible tragedy isn't it Nora? Could hardly believe it when I heard.
ReplyDeleteI know what you mean. I could not believe it either.
DeleteYes, how many of us were touched by Tina's beautiful photography. It is still hard to believe that she is gone.
ReplyDeleteHer last blog published and we were all reading it, she was gone.
DeleteThis is all a bit of a sick really - found out through FB. A strange set of emotions for somebody I had never met, but though that I knew just a little.

Yes it is a trigger for all those emotions of loss. But more than that it is a loss of what more she had to give.
DeleteThis is very sad.
ReplyDeleteyes we are all sad together in blog land.
DeleteOh my. I read about this in our local news and had no idea it was her. Such a tragedy... I am stunned. I will miss her beautiful photos and the way she so freely shared her talents and love for nature. What a enormous loss.
ReplyDeleteHi Jenn, yes it was a shock. It has been some time and I am still upset. I look at my Facebook and there is Tina with her lovely comments and then I go to my album and there she has written encouragement and then I look at My Youtube and she was the one who wrote encouragement there. She has written comments on my various blogs for ten years. She was my Canadian girl and I thought we would meet. I guess we will meet on the other side now.
