Sunsets and Raptors

Just a lovely mixture for the weekend of some of my favourite....

photos, sunsets, flowers, boat reflections and eagles and a hawk!

 I believe the above photo is from China Beach. These sunset photos are in my archives.

 This looks like French Beach to me above.

 All the flower photos are from the Rose Garden at the Legislature Buildings, the roses are in their prime right now even though it is so late! I took the flower photos just the other day.

This photo above looks like a small park in Gordon Head.

I saw this eagle yesterday and today out at Pat Bay Sidney nest and took a few pictures.
It could be the eagle we call Ma from the Sidney nest. There were also two eagles on the tree by the old nest so that makes three adult eagles.

This is the same hawk that looks like Spunky to me. I took this a while ago. He was always out in Sidney not far from the nest. Some people tell me that his tail has red on it so that makes him two years old. I tried to get a flying shot like this to look at that tail better. What do you think, it does not look very red to me. Oh well I will never know. It could have been Spunky all along and I did not know it. I really think it was him sometimes because he was so tame to me and let me get up close and talk to him.

 Out in Sidney there were some lovely reflections the other day down at the dock there.
