Today the poems are The Couple and Two.
The Couple
twilight beaches
waves overlap
blanketing
clouds fly high
above
the little dark people
below
lost in the snow
of sand
dark eyes of night
blink
to see them
stand
upon the white shore
of silence
their arms entwined.
Two
the hoary hill tumbled to the sea
two figures leaped over the tall green
appearing, disappearing
all along the sky's scalloped line
silent laughter flung over the waves
talking in the one language of Nature
man and earth
the wonder of their being
opened for night eyes to grasp
Beauty tiptoed in strewing daisies
in their wake
i stood above hardly daring to watch
The Words
thoughts have no end
hours have no time
heaven lifts only the innocent
but the sky is covered
by bold black messages
for those who can comprehend
a gull dips and soars
flashing white, turning mottled
in the shadow of the words
the multitude on the shore
point in awe at those few
who fly to grasp the words
and dip and soar as the gull
flashing white, turning mottled
in the shadow of the words.

Great action shots of the gulls!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much Dragonstar! I seldom can get flying shots so it was a practice day when I saw someone else was feeding the gulls I ran over to get some action photos.
