The poems today are from the teen years living in Vancouver.
bright splashes of fluorescent rain
Robson street~ open market
Freaks outside the circus
the house is empty and dark
oriental towers of green
stain glass windows and a
polished wood staircase
looking at the night sky
the rain painting the windows
drumming on the roof
on my bamboo chimes
alone i have thought
of my present here with you
of my past, my lost hopes
of my future, of my regained hopes
more of myself
and i believe
palpitating palpitating palpitating
ribbon rays of sunsets
Dylon on black walls of Alice's basement
Valley did you ever think we would come this far?
empty rotting jars of yellow paint
Can't remember dark days of a winter past
where it is all going
the twisted trees throwing patterns
to the wind of my mind
waiting for the night rain
dark clouds build castles in the sky
and the tall slender grass shudders
to think of what is to come.
