Today I have some poems about...
the snow, the sun and trees!
Poems written by me as a child or teenager:
Snow
From where it lies now
I know not where to go.
For it is like heaven
living in the snow.
(This poem is about something else but it applies to Butchart Gardens in the snow as in these pictures.)
And here is Butchart Gardens in the Sun.
Sun
Sun
sun sun sun sun sun sun sun sun
spreading like butter on my skin
sun is a golden yellow flower
in a galaxy garden of yellow
sun oh sun oh sun sun sun sun
stay in my garden flower please
sun be on my shoulder scarf
forever be sun for me.

Trees:
laughing i walked past the
grinning trees with blue bonnets on
they fluctuated their flagellated
branches and fell flat
on their big brown bellies
the laughter is so wonderful
i would like to grow
into a big white beech tree
and roll with chuckles
in puddling piles of amber leaves
isn't it sad to be humanity?
