Nice White Hawk Part Two

We went out in search of the great White Hawk again today......here is a little update...

We soon found the two Red-tailed hawks together on a branch.  It is my birthday so I was so happy to see hawks today!  Yay!!  What a nice birthday gift to me from nature!

As you can see I noticed both have red on their tails so I assume they are both older than Spunky.

The one that is white all over in the front is so interesting to me because....

he peeps and squeaks just the same as Spunky the hawk did!  The whole time I am out there he is vocalising the same peeps!  He never stops even when flying around he peeps.

He is very noisy and is always peeping either like a young hawk or just a very talkative fellow I guess.

They did some flying around and talking a lot.

They are behind a large fence and it is really far in so the photos are not good.

As I left I could still hear the white hawk screaming and peeping down the road aways.

What a lovely pair of hawks they are and I hope they have babies this year.

On Facebook you can see my Island Rambles Page where I post frequently. I post videos frequently on my Island Rambles YouTube Channel also. You can find me on Twitter here.

Nora, a wonderful HAPPY BIRTHDAY to you my friend! Thanks so much for allowing me to see your beautiful gifts in which you've received on this special day of yours!

  6. Thanks so much for your lovely comments to me. I will try to read each of your blogs as soon as I can.

  7. Great shots! Wow.

  8. How wonderful to think that Spunky is part of a pair. I do hope it's true. All of Western Canada (and maybe the world) fell in love with that little fellow as he defied all odds and managed to be raised by a pair of eagles.
    And congratulations on your birthday!
    Hugs from here.
