Welcome to the Island Rambles Blog

Welcome to my blog world. This is a photo blog, poetry and short story blog about my life on Vancouver Island, B.C. Canada. I take photos of the birds and scenery I find. I hope you enjoy your time here and please come back again. PHOTOS WILL ENLARGE IF CLICKED. The photos are slide show enabled if you click on them. If you click on the top lighthouse photo it always takes you to the most recent summary list of my postings. I am also mostly at my Facebook Page Island Rambles or my Instagram islandrambles.

Weekend Photo Round Up

A collection of photos from the past weeks.

The eagles had a party that we drove up on at a farm field.

Flowers bloomed everywhere.

Beacon Hill Park is full of flowers.

At Swan Lake the birds flew all around.

I looked at the sky at the dock in Oak Bay.

My garden was beautiful.

I stood up on top of the hill at Anderson Hill Park and I went down by the golf club in Oak Bay.

I saw the deer at Ross Bay Cemetery.

The eaglets fledged out of the nest in Oak Bay.

At the Spunky nest the eaglet fledged out also. Those are the photo selections for the past few weeks. I hope you enjoyed them. Have a wonderful day.

On Facebook you can see my Island Rambles Page where I post frequently. I post videos frequently on my Island Rambles YouTube Channel also. You can find me on Twitter here.
