Sea Lions and More

We went to Cowichan Bay to see the Sea Lions that have gathered there.

It was quite stormy and soon began to rain.

We found the Harris Sparrow out in Sidney.  He was quite cute.

We went to Butchart Gardens to see the fall displays.

All the gardeners were busy planting the bulbs for next year.

The Japanese Gardens looked quite pretty.

A few more shots from the Raptor Centre in Duncan, B.C.

I hope you are having a wonderful week and weekend. cheers, Nora

  3. Maybe the rain helped to disperse the smell of the sea lions! Enjoyed the video of the gardens. Felt I was there with you.

  5. Whenever I visit Vancouver Island I always make it a point to go to Cowichan Bay, one of my favourite places along the coast. Have you visited the huge heronry there when it is active?
