Migratory Birds on Vancouver Island



We have so many migratory birds in town now......this is an Orange Crowned Warbler above....




These seem to be Grey-headed Orange Crowned Warblers here.


Then below we have Yellow Rumped Warblers.


More Yellow Rumped Warblers in the ocean spray that is so lovely right now.

 
This is a Pacific Slope Flycatcher above.


Here we have the amazing Townsend Warblers...they are so unique with their masks.


More Townsend Warblers.


Groups of Bushtits are covering the ocean spray also.

  6. Fabulous photographs of the migratory birds Nora. I am just about to go to Australia for 6 weeks but have all my post scheduled in (bit of a marathon that was!) Unfortunately I will not be commenting while I am away but as often as I can will look at bloggers posts.

  8. You have quite a few yellow birds in your area. Very cool. Lately, I've noticed a blue jay in the late afternoon outside our patio door, about which I'm glad since I've seen any in a long time.
